Starget Ventures

Privacy policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

Starget Ventures LLC, Wyoming, United States, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@stargetventures.com.

This policy covers this website and enquiries sent directly to us. Client engagements, research projects and educational activities may require separate notices and agreements. In particular, it does not authorise collecting research-participant, student or sensitive client data through this website.

2. Information collected and its sources

We receive information directly from you when you email us: your name, email address, organisation, enquiry and any information you choose to include. Email systems also process routing and delivery metadata. You do not need to provide sensitive information or information about other people to make a general enquiry.

When you submit the enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, selected topic, message and, if provided, your organisation. The form also sends a one-time anti-abuse verification token. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals such as your IP address, TLS fingerprint, browser user-agent, site key and the website origin to detect automated traffic. The server uses a keyed hash of the network address for rate limiting and does not write raw visitor IP addresses into the rate-limit files. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

The website is hosted on Namecheap shared hosting and uses PHP to process enquiries. The website requests Fraunces and DM Sans from Google Fonts. Your browser makes requests to Google that disclose technical connection information, including your IP address, browser information and requested font resources. Google's handling is described in its Privacy Policy. Hosting providers may process standard connection and security logs under their own retention controls.

3. Why information is used

We use direct-enquiry information to understand and answer your request, arrange discussions, and take requested steps towards a possible engagement. We may also use necessary correspondence to manage records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and handle privacy requests. Contact details are not automatically added to a marketing list.

Where the EU GDPR applies, responding to a request about entering a contract may rely on steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), where the request concerns you as the prospective contracting party. General professional or organisation-representative enquiries and proportionate record keeping may rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): communicating about our services and managing the business, balanced against your rights. Legal compliance relies on Article 6(1)(c) where applicable. Any future optional processing requiring consent will be explained separately; consent may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. Merely browsing does not constitute consent.

4. Choices and required information

You may browse without making an enquiry and may contact us without identifying yourself where practicable. We need a usable reply address and enough information to answer a request. Without them, we may be unable to respond. Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment details, confidential security findings, health information or other sensitive material through general enquiry channels.

5. Disclosures and service providers

Enquiries are sent to info@stargetventures.com using the website host’s mail transport and are received in the Namecheap Private Email mailbox for that address. Cloudflare provides the Turnstile anti-abuse verification service; Google provides the requested fonts. These providers may process technical information to provide and secure their services. People authorised to respond within Starget Ventures may access relevant correspondence. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or authorities where necessary for advice, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. We do not sell enquiry information, rent mailing lists, or use it for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cloudflare, Google, Namecheap hosting and Namecheap Private Email act as service providers for the functions described above. Their infrastructure may process information in more than one country. We do not add advertising or analytics services to this website.

6. International handling

An international project location is not evidence that your information is stored or disclosed there. Namecheap, Cloudflare and Google may process information through infrastructure in multiple countries, including the United States. Their applicable terms and processing locations govern their services; where required, we will use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and safeguards.

Where required, overseas transfers use a valid legal mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, with supplementary protections where necessary. Australian overseas disclosures are assessed under applicable Australian Privacy Principles. You may ask the privacy contact for information about applicable safeguards.

7. Retention

Enquiry emails are retained in the business mailbox while needed to respond, manage any resulting discussions and meet applicable record-keeping or legal requirements. Rate-limit records contain a keyed hash of the network address and are automatically removed after 24 hours. Namecheap’s email and hosting logs follow the provider’s retention practices. We review enquiry information periodically and remove it when it is no longer needed, subject to legal and dispute-related obligations.

8. Security

General enquiry email is not a secure channel for confidential or highly sensitive information. No transmission method is risk-free. The form uses server-side validation, CSRF protection, a honeypot, rate limiting and Cloudflare Turnstile verification. Any legally required breach notifications will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

9. Cookies, browser storage and tracking

This website contains no analytics, advertising pixels or social-media tracking embeds. The opening animation uses sessionStorage to remember that it has run in the current tab. This is a local presentation preference, not an advertising identifier; it is normally cleared when the tab session ends. Browsers may retain it when restoring a session. Fonts may also be cached by your browser. Cloudflare Turnstile may use storage or other technical signals needed for bot detection.

We do not use tracking cookies, cross-site tracking, or Do Not Track signals to profile visitors. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is no such sale or sharing to opt out of using Global Privacy Control. If processing changes, legally required opt-out signals and consent controls will be implemented before it starts.

10. Your rights and requests

Email info@stargetventures.com with your request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity or an authorised representative's authority, but do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through a suitable channel. We do not charge a fee unless permitted by applicable law and explained in advance. Where a lawful exception prevents a request, we will explain it as required. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.

EU/EEA: Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent where relied upon. You may object to direct marketing at any time. We do not use this website to make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. GDPR requests are normally answered within one month; a permitted extension of up to two further months requires notice and reasons within the first month. You may complain to your competent supervisory authority, including in your habitual residence, place of work or the place of an alleged infringement. See the EDPB authority directory.

Australia: Where the Privacy Act and APPs apply, you may request access and correction and complain about handling. Please contact us first; we aim to respond to privacy complaints within 30 days. If unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Applicable legal rights and exceptions are not reduced by this notice.

United States: State-law rights depend on your residence, the law's scope and exemptions. Where applicable, rights may include access/confirmation, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling. Some laws provide a right to limit certain sensitive-information uses. California rights may be exercised through an authorised agent where permitted. We do not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, use sensitive information to infer characteristics, or operate significant-effect profiling through this website. Applicable access/correction/deletion requests are generally answered within 45 days, with any lawful extension and notice; shorter statutory deadlines, including applicable opt-out deadlines, take precedence. Where a state law provides an appeal, reply to our decision with “Privacy appeal”; we will explain the appeal outcome and regulator complaint route within the applicable deadline. California's CCPA and other state statutes are not assumed to apply solely because the website is accessible in those states.

11. Children and external links

This website is directed to professional and institutional audiences, not children. We do not seek children's personal information through it. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so it can be investigated and handled appropriately. External sites have their own privacy practices; linking to them does not extend this policy to their services.

12. Changes

The date above records the latest revision. Material changes will be explained on this page and, where required, notified directly before new processing begins. We will seek consent when legally required. This policy does not waive your rights or constitute consent to new uses.
